I love you Firefox

Dear Firefox,

You know how I hate to write this, but its time to try some thing new.

I don’t know where to begin although I suspect you can already guess what I am gonna say. You know all my secrets and how much I am committed to Google. Once I was advocate of both you and Google in past years. There is a time in a man’s life when he ask himself “Should you continue to love the same girl always ? Or cant you try that fresh spicy, who is your Boss’s daughter ? ” That time has came to me and I said “No”. My decision is partly reasoned due to your sleeping mentality when I open too much tabs, and you know that you are too poor to handle my Flash.

It’s not you, it’s me. You are still the old girl I met two years before when I broke up with Opera. I am now so exited to see the browser which renders all my tabs as separate process. I tried to tolerate you as much as I could, really. But I cant wait for your wake up from sleep every time I start my computer. Chrome wakes up when ever I make a single call. I don’t want to dwell on negatives. Every single day we had together were wonderful and you helped me a lot to improve. You protected me every time when Hackers tried to attach me and my accounts.

But do you know that all the features you have now was made by me by installing extensions ? When we met first time, I brought the Google toolbar for you. Then I turned web developer. That time you got Web developer toolbar, then the fire ftp. A number of thing I gave you life firebug, fireshot. When I said you ” I want to see web in my own way” You asked to get that Stylish for you. I did it and you showed me Orkut in the lightest way than any one can see. But you know that orkut has got themes now. Oh the Gmail redesigned !. I hope you know that Gmail got themes too.

When my interest turned in to SEO, I added SEO Quake and KGen for reviewing my websites. I thank you for those great tools. But still.. I want a change. You may say that you have so many features like Auto copy, which make copy past easy like in Linux. Ubiquity is unforgettable experience I had with you. I still like that MSDOS like command prompt that understand all my needs. Server switch helped me a lot when I worked on live websites and development ports simultaneously . Split browser supported me to compare the differences between those websites. Page diff is a great tool to compare the code behind the websites. I still love all those features you have.

When I started to live online, twitter bar was my tool to reveal things with the world. You know how much it was cool to brows the files you saved offline using Scrap book. When my interest turned to accessibility, you where there with great support by your Wave toolbar. Firevox helped me to learn things when I am tired to read. You behave like a speaking browser. That made me remember of my old friend Opera. For developing accessible web content, Accessibility extension helped me a big way that i never understand. Your power to upload bulk files to Picasa web, Flicker, YouTube and Google Docs is unforgettable with Universal uploader.

All are sweet remembrance now. Slim ladies are weakness of Men all time. And that is what I loved on Chrome. Your heavy body made me use of Quick restart every day two three times. It is your only feature that I hate to use. I know chrome is not rich like you. Its having poor graphics support and ofcource cant add thousands of extensions to meet my requirements. But I think I can adjust with element inspector. I was in secret relation with her since September 2, the day one I start this blog.

It is time to move on, for both you and me. I hope we can remain as friends as long as client ask for browser compatibility . And sure, I will be developing websites for you.

Please feel free to let me a try when new versions come in. đŸ™‚

With love,
